Celebrating Grandma’s 90th Birthday!

My Grandma T. recently celebrated her 90th birthday. To help celebrate, all of her kids, many of her grandkids, a niece and nephew from North Dakota, and many church friends gathered in person yesterday. Her grandkids that couldn’t be there in person joined her via Skype from Delaware and Namibia. There were also tons of cards and well-wishes from all over, and through every form … Continue reading Celebrating Grandma’s 90th Birthday!

I did check-in with a brief update last week, but was saving the majority of my writing and reflections for later. Well, its probably time to share. Happy Father’s Day!

To all fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day! To celebrate, let me share a video that has gone viral. As for myself, today I give thanks especially for my dad, my father-in-law, and my grandpas. My Dad has always been there, and continues to be there. He was a connective leader before Jean Lipman-Blumen had come up with the term. He was exhibiting characteristics of millennial leadership … Continue reading Happy Father’s Day!

Flopping and Leadership

If you follow soccer (futbol or football) at all, you are probably familiar with the term “flop” or its synonym “dive.” If you are a fan of professional basketball, you probably witness a good flop or two in every game too. (To offer a quick definition it is basically when one fakes … Continue reading Flopping and Leadership
