During the season of Lent, I will be sharing a short post each day as part of the Lent-Photo-a-Day Journey, providing a sort of brief reflection and witness through the journey to and through the cross, to the tomb, and out into the world.

The word designated for March 5th was “Home.”

When thinking about what “home” means, it could really mean a whole host of things. For now, home for me is where Allison and I live with our cat, Buddy. Add in a hand full of books for good measure, and you have a pretty good understanding of what our home is like. The only other piece, is that we like to share it with friends and family.  We try to create a welcoming space, allowing friends and family in to relax and be in community together. I credit that desire to share and be open and welcoming with our parents who taught us by example of what that means.
