During the season of Lent, I will be sharing a short post each day as part of the Lent-Photo-a-Day Journey, providing a sort of brief reflection and witness through the journey to and through the cross, to the tomb, and out into the world.

The word designated for March 6th was “Journey.”

I am kind of cheating with these photos as I am working to try and catch up with the present day (they were technically taken after March 6th). But I think these photos taken by Allison really show and depict a start to a journey.

Allison and I had the great honor to be able to witness and help celebrate our dear friend Kaitlyn from seminary and her now husband (and our newer friend) Scott as they got married this weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony and a fun reception, which I am sure were part of an amazingly special and wonderful wedding weekend for the two of them. We are blessed by their friendship, and excited to see where their journey together will take them.
