During the season of Lent, I will be sharing a short post each day as part of the Lent-Photo-a-Day Journey, providing a sort of brief reflection and witness through the journey to and through the cross, to the tomb, and out into the world.

The word designated for March 12th was “Healing.”
Sometimes healing starts through naming the need for healing. Sometimes it comes through the simple, yet meaningful moment one takes to ask another person how things are going. Sometimes it comes first through a simple prayer for one’s self or another.
In this picture, you see a Prayer Loom that was created for Tapestry, a missional community in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. On the strands of cloth are a number of prayer concerns including some for healing.
How do you ask for healing? What sort of healing are you praying for someone today? How do you see or experience healing in your own life? How can you help in God’s work of healing and restoration in creation and the world?
