During the season of Lent, I will be sharing a short post each day as part of the Lent-Photo-a-Day Journey, providing a sort of brief reflection and witness through the journey to and through the cross, to the tomb, and out into the world.

The word designated for March 20th is “Story.”

Any story about me and my vocational journey and understanding generally starts here on Easter morning the year I was born. I was baptized on Easter morning in my home congregation, with my grandpa presiding as the pastor and baptizing me that day. Since that day, my understandings of vocation have emerged and changed through time. I went to school, college and grad school. I fell in love and got married, and am in the process of figuring out what it will look like to be in a ministry family together.

My story is an on-going one. I believe that God’s story is an on-going one as well. How are you part of that story?
